Target Community Relations | Give With Target

The Challenge:
Target annually donated funds to support education as part of its ongoing Give With Target program, but wanted a way to localize giving and put the power of choice into guests’ hands.

The Idea:
In an effort to supercharge the Give With Target campaign, we tapped into Facebook’s social graph of interconnected users by building a white label Facebook application that would allow users to vote upon which schools should receive the divvied up $5 million in donations.

My Role:
Led brand and social strategy for the digital experience, inclusive of Facebook voting application and ancillary social and digital content; Led on-site experiential oversight for in-person activations across the country.
